Estimator
What will this file actually cost?
Pick the review, the record volume, and the timeline. The range is an order-of-magnitude estimate, not a quote — every engagement gets a written scope first.
Estimates assume a single-defendant file with records in a reviewable format. Multi-provider records, illegible scans, and duplicate productions increase hours. Testimony is billed separately at the rates above.
Terms
How billing works
Net 30
Invoices unpaid after thirty days carry a late fee of 1.5% per month. Billing disputes must be raised in writing within ten days of the invoice date.
Retainer before records
A retainer is confirmed before any records are transferred. It is applied against work performed, not held as a separate fee.
Confidentiality
All case materials are handled under HIPAA and applicable confidentiality obligations. Records are transmitted and stored encrypted, and returned or destroyed at the close of the engagement on your instruction.
Governing law
Engagements are governed by California law. Travel outside Los Angeles County is billed at cost for transport, lodging, and meals, agreed in advance.
